The Nakyangyarn brand history exhibition "A Thread That Connects, A Craft That Endures" will be held.

Memories and time in one thread,

May walking along the journey of a brand.

Through 60 years of thread, the story of connecting people with people, hearts and minds begins.

In the 1960s, in a small village in Gunwi, North Gyeongsang Province,

a family's decision marked the beginning of a story that continues to unfold:

A story told through yarn.

A couple who moved to the city to support their children's education

began selling knitting yarn to make a living.

Their steady, honest work caught the attention of someone who would later entrust them

with the name Nakyangyarn.

From that point on, Nakyangyarn grew step by step,

not just as a business, but as a brand that believes in the quiet strength of yarn

to connect people and carry stories through generations.

Today, Nakyangyarn continues this work,

focusing not only on the material itself,

but also on the connections between craft, creativity, and community.

The threads we’ve carried over time have gradually taken on new meaning.

Place Nakyang is where those threads now gather:
