The Woven Product Project "The Bag" is a collaboration between the Woven Design Studio 2 course, part of the Crafts Major curriculum at Seoul Women's University's School of Art and Design, and Nakyangyarn. The students involved are third-year crafts majors Kim Suah, Kim Eunho, Kim Taeyeon, Park Eunseo, Park Haeun, Shim Yoori, Lee Yujin, Lee Juhee, Jeong Seunghyun, and Choi Hayeon. The students research their own fabric structures based on the weaving technique in which warp and weft threads are crossed to create a fabric. By combining threads of different colors, textures and characteristics, they produce unique fabrics. The resulting fabric is then applied to a bag, allowing not only the weaving, but also the fabric and design to stand out. From thread selection to fabric structure research, fabric production, and bag design and production, each piece showcases the students’ meticulous efforts.
The Woven Product Project "The Bag" is an industry-academic collaboration between Nakyangyarn and the Crafts Major at the School of Art and Design at Seoul Women's University as part of the sustainable textile industry.

Students enrolled in the course "Woven Design Studio 2" receive various discarded yarns from Nakyangyarn and, considering the colors, textures, and characteristics of the threads, they design their own fabric structures through creative experimentation and research. They then produce their own bags using their designed fabrics and exhibit them.
